They're on the PANUG Web site at: http://panug.org/news/novell/ Please submit your comments. WHAT'S UP WITH SCO? by Stephen Coan I have heard nothing about SCO in the past month I have been gone. Is there some status update to what is going on with SCO? I just read where Novell purchased SUSE Linux. Where does that put it in relationship to the SCO transfer of Unix source code? Any comments/updates? Raymond L. Robert: SCO is arguing that Novell out-and-out transferred rights to it. Therefore subsequent transactions by Novell wouldn't matter. More relevant might be IBM's concomitant purchase of a large block of Novell stock. If SCO somehow did prevail against IBM, that might now embroil Novell. Ken Barber: Take a look at Newsforge (newsforge.com). You'll find lots of articles there to get you up to speed. Lorraine Renard: The last article I seen in E-week regarding SCO was a few weeks back last month.
