SWITCH An interesting story about a company switching from Microsoft desktops to Linux: http://news.com.com/2008-1082_3-5065859.html FEEDBACK I have received 41 bounce messages from various email servers because I (dale@microsharp.com) am the "sender" of the virus. As far as I can tell all of the messages are actually coming from one machine: libp.library.gatech.edu (199.77.141.201). All of my emails to gatech.edu get auto responses that they will respond in 24 to 48 hours. I wonder how many rbls I will be on by then? Dale (the real dale@microsharp.com) As much as I dislike Outlook, it's not fair to label Sobig an Outlook virus. It's a Windows virus. A Windows machine can be infected even if it doesn't have Outlook on it. The problem with spam isn't so much Windows as it is the weakness of the Internet mail protocol. In the spam-filled al-Qaida world we live in, it's simply not sufficient to trust that everybody is telling the truth about where mail is coming from and where replies should be sent. Raymond L.
