BIZNIX MEETING
The combined BizNix/PANUG meeting is tonight, Thursday,
November 21 at 6:15 pm at Novell's office in Tigard.
The presentation will be given by David May and Ed Sawicki.
The topic will be Task-Oriented Computing.
HOTMAIL

Over the past several weeks, I've noticed that email sent
to hotmail.com users has been delayed because Hotmail
servers are busy. It's common for several hours to elapse
before the mail is finally accepted. Sometimes, we send out
a meeting announcement the day before a meeting and someone
complains that it was received a few hours before or after
the meeting. In most cases, this complaint comes from a
Hotmail user.
If you use Hotmail for doing business and time is
important to you ("We'll send that quote for 5 million
widgets to you right now, Mr. Smith"), you should probably
switch to another service or bring your email in-house.
