News from PANUG/BizNix - July 10, 2002 http://panug.org - http://biznix.org USER MODE LINUX AT MEETING The July BizNix meeting is tomorrow - Thursday, July 11 at 6:15 pm at Novell's office in Tigard. The main topic is User Mode Linux. David May will demonstrate it and answer questions. User Mode Linux allows you to create numerous virtual computers where each one runs Linux and appears to be running on it's own computer. Each virtual computer has its own root account, IP address, etc. There are numerous practical applications and we'll likely think of more at the meeting.
