LINUX CERTIFICATIONS

IBM has announced that they would reimburse their
partner companies up to $3000 for every employee
who becomes Linux certified. The two Linux
certifications that qualify are LPI and Red Hat.
This is yet another indication that the SAIR/GNU
certification may be a loser in a future Linux
certification shakeout. It also illustrates IBM's
resolve to be the biggest player in the Linux and
Open Source software business.

THE DIALECTIZER

In case you haven't heard of the Dialectizer, you're in for
a treat. Go to the following web site and enter the URL for
any web site. Then sit back and watch as the Dialectizer
converts the text on the web site to a comic dialect. Red
neck is the dialect by default but you can choose others
like Jive, Cockney, and Elmer Fudd.
